Are you 420 friendly?
Yes, we are. Just no smoking in the house.
How furnished is the house…do I need to bring stuff to cook?
This was once our home and it’s furnished just like that. This is not bare bones with minimal decor and missing necessities like bath products, cooking utensils, etc. You will find a fully furnished house, bathroom and kitchen. Whether it’s plastic bags, can opener, wine opener, spice rack, serving trays or cooking utensils….can bet we’ve got it!
Are you smoking friendly?
We do not allow smoking. We also do not allow fire of any kind outside of the designated fire pit. After all, the cabin already burnt down once….check out ‘The Hosts’ tab for the history on the cabin
Are you pet friendly?
We allow dogs on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to us for more information.
Are you kid friendly?
This is a haven for kids and adults. There are plenty of activities for adults and kids. It’s a great way to get out of the city, unplug and experience nature and the simple life. Whether it’s pitching a tent out back and star gazing, perusing the property, teaching your kids how to fish or playing the many available games and activities.
What do I do if I want to rent both properties at the same time?
This is the perfect option for family reunions to separate generational energies…. grandparents that need to get away from all the hustle and bustle can retire early in the cottage while the party lives on in the cabin. This is also great for those large parties that need more room and beds, but all want to be on site to participate in the activities and memory building.

Dirt roads…do I need a truck?
Not necessary, but be prepared for a dirty car. There are also multiple hills.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
While we do provide Wi-Fi, in our country setting, connecting multiple devices may lead to slower speeds. We appreciate your understanding.
How do I order personalized extras?
For more information visit ‘Personalized Extras’ under ‘Amenities’ tab. There are multiple extras available. if you have something special in mind you don’t see on list, reach out to us! We must have advanced notice.
Is there covered parking?
There is no covered parking, but plenty of parking
Can I hunt?
We do not allow hunting on the property, but we are happy to connect you with local hunting guides. We can also arrange space for you to do target practice. You are welcome to do clay pigeon shooting.
Can I bring my boat and trailer?
Yes. There is plenty of room for boat, trailer and other toys.
Do you have a hot tub?
No we do not have a hot tub on site.
Can I book directly to save money?
Yes. if you are interested in booking directly to save on fees, contact us directly. You can do this via the ‘contact us’ page or send us an email with ‘direct booking’ in subject line.
Is there Uber and Lyft out there?
No there is not predictable ride share or taxying services. Reach out for some suggestions.
Should I bring firewood?
You're welcome to savage the property for kindling and firewood, but this is not provided. This is available for purchase.
Do you have a hot tub?
No we do not have a hot tub on site.
Can I have a party?
This is a case-by-case basis. Reach out to us for more information.
How close is nearest grocery store?
Nearest grocery store is Durant which is about 15 minutes away. Stop by the store on your way up to the property. We’ve got a full-size kitchen, full size refrigerator and mini-fridge.
Are you easy to find?
If you type our address into maps, it will bring you directly to the property. we do recommend getting her during daylight as it' gets VERY dark out here. We are in the country and there are minimal street lights.
